NOMINATIONS FOR VOLUNTEER WEEK COMMUNITY AWARD
Dear Members and Associates,
Wide Bay Volunteers would like to extend an invitation to your organisation, to celebrate National Volunteer Week 2010 from 10th – 16th May. The theme this year is “Volunteers Now More than Ever!” National Volunteer Week is about raising awareness of volunteering, promoting all the different and unique positions that people can volunteer for and how to showcase your organisation; but most importantly, recognition and saying thankyou to the volunteers in our community.

We invite you to nominate persons for the following Community Award 2010:-
“General Volunteer of the Year” 22 years +
“Youth Volunteer of the Year” 14 to 21 years
Not only will the winners be awarded a trophy as a memento but they will also receive a number of great prizes through the support of local businesses.
