You can donate in a number of ways, and it is really easy.
- Bring in your computer equipment (old or new, working or not). Through our Computer I.T. Refurbishment Project, we repair and donate refurbished computers to other not-for-profit community organisation – free of charge.
- Donate any reusable office equipment or office stationary/supplies. Do you have a number office chairs or filing cabinets you are not using? Maybe you have a bundle of manila folders or ring binders – we gratefully accept donations for office supplies and stationary, from time to time we also re-donate these supplies to needy organisations.
- Monetary donations of cash are always gratefully received. Wide Bay Volunteers can place an honour board identifying your significant donation (if you request). Any cash donation will always be put to good use.
- Do you have a business idea or potential partnership Wide Bay Volunteers may become involved in? All potential business ideas must be of community benefit and be sustainable. We are always happy to consider your proposal. Any profits earned by Wide Bay Volunteers will be reinvested to improve our community services.
- Time, do you have time to donate to Wide Bay Volunteers to help us help others? If you have a certain skills set that can improve our business or generate additional income for Wide Bay Volunteers, we would love to hear from you. We are always looking to improve our scope of community services and raise funds for the benefit of this region.
- Sponsors or In-Kind services. Do you have a business that can provide some of our supplies or can we trade services. This is another way to support Wide Bay Volunteers. Our sponsors are always acknowledged and you can find our current sponsors in our sponsors tab on our website.
- Building Fund. Wide Bay Volunteers will one day need to relocate to a new premises, as we currently rent our premises from the Bundaberg Regional Council. Whilst we are very grateful for our office space, ideally we would like to be located on a ground floor so we could better service all of the community, with disability access and access for the aged. We need land in the CBD area and we need to build or purchase a suitable building for the future. Can you help us?
Wide Bay Volunteers operates with very limited funding and every dollar is used very wisely. Our General Manager also donates part of his time (as a volunteer) to perform this role. All paid staff are on very modest incomes. We practice what we preach, community sustainability and to build community capacity.
All enquires can be forwarded to: info@widebayvolunteers.org.au or ask to speak with the General Manager.
On behalf of Wide Bay Volunteers, thank you.
